Kissing in the Rain Releases & Updates!

I'm almost embarrassed to post on here because it's been SO long. And for that, I apologize.

I have some fun things to share, but FIRST, Kissing in the Rain (A Seasonal Romance Anthology from Literary Crush Publishing) releases today! You can find my novella, A Blueprint for Love, in the collection!

This was such a fun story to write. After focusing on action-packed sci-fi stories in the Deception Game series, it was a nice change of pace to slow it down and work on my first love—romance. All of the novellas have the theme of Kissing in the Rain and are considered sweet, clean love stories. I'm happy to be a part of this anthology!

If you follow me on social media, then you probably already know about this. Catalyst was named as a 2018 IAN Book of the Year Award Finalist in the Young Adult category! I was super excited to get this cool little badge for my book. I love the way it looks. Don't you??

In other news, Catalyst is making its television debut! :) My publisher was recently contacted by an NCIS New Orlean's set director, asking if they could use some of their books in a scene on NCIS. The set director chose Catalyst to be placed in an NCIS agent's daughter's bedroom. I was thrilled when I heard the announcement! I'm not sure when it will air, but if I find out, I'll let you know!

Also, I recently attended Teen Bookfest by the Bay in Corpus Christi, Texas as a featured author. It was an amazing experience. I flew there a day early so I could spend all day on Friday doing author visits at a local high school. Shaila Patel (another YA author from Charlotte) and I did three presentations together to a very respectful and attentive group of students. I loved their questions and their insights! Then on Saturday, during the Bookfest, I participated in three author panels and signed books throughout the day. I loved interacting with readers, especially those who are writers themselves! The TBFBay team was beyond amazing. They thought of EVERYTHING to make us authors feel welcome and appreciated. I can't wait to go back next year!
