C is for Community
This is a stellar community of writers, authors, and bloggers and I feel blessed to be a part of it.
Even though I've only been blogging for a few months, you welcomed me in and offered support and encouragement.
You are all amazing, but I'd like to give a shout out to a few people in particular.
Charity Bradford, thanks for keeping me in "the loop." I don't know what I would have done without you to guide me these past few months.
Crystal Collier, thanks for immediately welcoming me into this blogging/writing community. You and all your cheese are stinkin' AWESOME!
Sheri Larsen, you are one of the kindest people I've ever "met". So thankful for your support and friendship.
The AMAZING Alex Cavanaugh (and clones), I truly don't know how you do it. You are everywhere. I can always count on you to be one of the first people to comment on my blog. And you actually READ it! Means a lot.
And a BIG thank you to all of you who have stopped by my blog and offered words of support, encouragement, or even just introduced yourself. I've enjoyed getting to know all of you and can't wait to "meet" more like-minded bloggers, writers, and authors. You guys rock!!
Are you thankful for your blogging community? Do you want to give a shout out to anyone in particular? Come on, you know you want to...

*hugs* This is the best community and I'm so glad I could share it with you! I know and respect/love your other three C's as well. I'll just add my first real critique partner and blogger in crime--Carol Coffelt. Double points for CC!! I seriously think she's just me on a farm with grandkids.
ReplyDeleteCarol is another great one! I look forward to getting to know her better! :)
DeleteGreat to acknowledge the community that has given so much and is like a family. I am also blessed and proud to be a part of the Write Tribe community started by the wonderful Corinne! :)
ReplyDeleteSo great that you have a wonderful writing community as well! And now that our paths have crossed, you are part of mine! :)
DeleteAw! Thanks for the shout out, Kristen. *warm fuzzies* There are so many bloggers I absolutely adore, I mean, like HUNDREDS (think in the 500ish range), but there are a few who are near and dear to my heart, just because we've been buddies for so long. One of those is Kerri Cuevas. Another is Misha Gerieke. Madeline Jane is another, and I better stop there because I could seriously list about 50 people right here and not be done. It is an amazing community, and I feel so blessed to have them in my life--including you, of course.
ReplyDeleteMisha is wonderful! She gave me an awesome critique of my first chapter and query for my most recent manuscript. I haven't met Kerri yet, but I'm sure she's amazing!
DeleteCrap, I blew it! I'm not first.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I discovered when I began blogging - this community is amazing. All three of those ladies are wonderful and very supportive. And now through the Challenge (and the IWSG) you will find an even bigger community.
Thanks for the special mention.
Will try to get here sooner tomorrow...
Haha! Sorry to put pressure on you!
DeleteHi--so happy to meet you through the A-Z. I am a new follower and, like you, a writer of sweet or inspy romance. I hope to publish a Love Inspired Historical ... as a start.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! It's great to meet you Cathy!! I'll hop on over to your blog right now! :)
DeleteI'm so thankful to Alex, too - he's like the center of the blogging community awesomeness!!
ReplyDeleteHe is, definitely! :)
DeleteThe blogging community is such a warm and fun one, for sure! And I love your new header, very pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to thank people! I'm a newbie, too, and I agree the community has been very friendly and encouraging. So nice!
ReplyDeleteMy network is mainly my good old friends.=) And some new ones. It is nice to have feedback of course! http://bellesbazaar-heather.blogspot.com/2014/04/c-is-for-car-crash.html
ReplyDeleteI've made quite a few 'blogging friends' since I started blogging 10 months back. The blogging community is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAw ... you are too sweet! I hadn't seen your "C" post, yet. I've been trying to stick to as limited a blogging schedule as I can - if that's possible during the A to Z. But I needed to finish 3rd draft edits on my MG and write my synopsis. YAY, I've done both! Now, to nip and tuck ... I'm glad you've joined our writing community. Your positive energy is an asset, which I'm sure will continue to grow!
